Rihanna: I Like Bizarre Clothes

In just a few short years, Rihanna has become one to watch on the red carpet. The 23-year-old definitely knows how to snag the spotlight, whether she's wearing a Dolce & Gabbana tuxedo suit (like she did to the 2009 Met Gala) or a see-through Jean-Paul Gaultier gown (like she wore to this year's Grammy Awards). So what inspires her crazy sense of style? The "Umbrella" singer tells all in the September issue of Glamour.

"Getting dressed, I want to pick the most bizarre pair of shorts so I can figure out how to make it look right, or work an outfit that will make people go, 'What the hell is she wearing?'" Rihanna reveals to the magazine. If that's her approach, she's been successful so far.

The songstress admits that she feels much the same way about experimenting with her wardrobe as she does about her life. However, Rihanna, who just two-and-a-half years ago was at the center of a domestic violence scandal with then-boyfriend Chris Brown, says she often feels pressured to be perfect for her younger fans. "I want to set the right example and, at the same time, live my life....
